Good times.

This weekend was pretty uneventful but it was still a good one.  Friday we were suppose to go to the zoo but got rained out so we met the Gallers over at International Plaza (they have the best play place).

Saturday we went to Target to get all of Ty’s school supplies, seriously, it was at least 60 dollars and he is only in VPK!  I still can’t find plastic scissors or hand sanitizer (everyone is out).  Later on we met the Gallers over at Countryside Mall.  I managed to find a new lunch box for Ty at the Disney store for 5 bucks!  The kids played at the the play place for a bit.  After looking at some other stuff we all headed home.  The Gallers put their kids to bed and we met them at Grillsmith for dinner.  I usually like Grillsmith and my food was good this time, all  I got was a Cesar salad, but I do not recommend their creme brulee.  It was pretty disappointing.

Sunday morning was cleaning and laundry.  Later on Todd and his kids came over and Mike and his kids and they all went to the pool.  I stayed behind to clean more, I organized Dave’s closet.  Then everyone came back and Angelle joined us.  I made dinner for everyone.  We fed the kids first and then they played while the adults ate.  It was fun hanging out with everyone and all the kids got along great!  Now, it’s time for another Monday.  My body is still not quite use to waking up so early!  I miss my lazy summer mornings…

Sweet!

I guess all I had to do was complain.  It did NOT rain today and I did NOT get a headache!  What a great day, too bad it wasn’t Friday.

We had dinner at Carraba’s with Austin and Amanda.  Austin leaves tomorrow for his first year of college at Flagler College in St. Augustine.  We had a great dinner.  He is excited and nervous.  I just can’t believe he is freaking 18 and going to college!  I know he will do great.  Just makes me feel old!

Roofer??

Anyone know a good roofer??  As we were eating dinner tonight, we started hearing dripping, it was fast dripping, I actually thought Milo was peeing on the floor!  Turns out the roof is leaking!!  How shitty is that.  Oh well, what are you going to do.  Anyone know a good roofer???  Dave has to make some calls tomorrow…

Dang!

It is hard to remember to post everyday!  I guess I will do another double post today to make up for forgetting yesterday!

Let’s see, Sunday, what did we do…Oh yes, Dave slept till 11:00, must be nice.  Ty and I spent some nice time together while he was sleeping though.  We colored in his big coloring books.  Cookie was slightly annoying trying to eat them while we colored though.  Then I made some pancakes and we ate breakfast together.  We did have some good quality time together which was nice and fun, he is such a cool kid, I know I am slightly biased but he is fun to hang out with and really has a great personality.  Once Dave woke up we headed out to find some new shoes for Ty for school.  It starts in 2 weeks!  We found some good sneakers at Skechers and it was buy one get one half off so I got a pair too!  Plus, they are doing tax free this week and next week, so we didn’t have to pay taxes!  After that we headed to Panera for lunch, hit the book store and then hhgregg.  We did get a tv for Dave’s office, it was a really good deal and it was no interest for 12 months, how could we not get it?  After that I dropped the boys off at home and went to Old Navy with my mom to find some new work clothes.  Everything was on sale but the pants, of course!  But I did get some shirts, a pair of shoes and 2 pairs of pants.  Plus, if you spent more than 50 dollars they took 10 dollars off!  Overall a great day of shopping and good deals!

Oops!

My day was so busy yesterday that I didn’t get a chance to post.  So, today to make up for it I will make 2 posts.

Yesterday Suzanne, Ty and myself went to IKEA.  I know, taking a 4 year old to IKEA not the greatest idea but he had been stuck at home for the past 3 days because of my training so he really needed to get out of the house.  Ty actually did really good until the end and when we had to wait a while in the line.  Once we got an ice cream cone, for 1 dollar!, he was great.

After IKEA we had Casey’s birthday party.  He will be 3 on the 15th.  Ty had lots of fun playing with his cousin and some of the neighbor kids.  The pizza, Greek salad and ice cream cake were delicious.  I should have got a picture of Ty eating the cake.  It had blue frosting on it and his tongue and lips were so blue!  He looked like a character from a Dr. Suess book!

I finished making Suzanne’s baby shower present, pictures to come!  Not till after the shower so Suzanne doesn’t see it!  Time to get some breakfast.
