Halloween 2010.

Halloween this year was pretty interesting.  I thought this would be the year that Ty would really enjoy it.  He had been getting so excited about it.  We started off with an awesome dinner of Thai Chicken soup made by mom, so good, along with some Dark and Spooky’s to drink, also very tasty!  Suzanne and Jamie joined us.  Ty had been asking all day what time we could go trick or treating, I kept telling him 7:00 all day.  7:00 comes.  We get his Storm Trooper costume on and he immediately wants it off.  Ok.  We take it off.  He informs me he wants to be Batman (this was his costume last year).  Luckily it still fits.  We put Batman on and set off.  We get to the first house, he says his trick or treat and thank yous, same with the second house.  After the second house he tells me he does not want to hold his bag (it is definitely not heavy at this point).  I tell him I will hold it until he gets up to the houses but then he has to take it.  Apparently he does not like this situation, throws himself on the sidewalk and proceeds to have a minor hissy fit.  I ask if he is ready to go home and he says yes!  So, home we went.  He was perfectly happy.  Oh well, maybe next year.  He was pretty overtired and I think that had a lot to do with his odd behavior! He told me he would want to hold his bag next year. lol. Kids.  It wasn’t a complete loss because the Bucs won their game!!
