The procedure went well but we didn’t get the great news we were hoping for. He cleaned a lot out of me but both my tubes are pretty wrecked by all the endo. So, our only option is IVF. I am ok with that as long as we know now we can work towards the next step. He was very positive about IVF and said there is no reason why it will not work for us. He also said there are a lot of options for payment and not to worry about that piece. Dave was great he is already talking about getting a 2nd job to pay for it. The other part he found was a little scarier. The edno has wrapped around my appendix and pulled it like a rubber band all the way down to my round ligaments. There it has attached to some arteries by my legs. He is referring me to a doctor that specializes in that surgery to have my appendix removed. It is pretty serious though, if it were to burst or get infected I could lose a leg or die! He wanted to just take it out yesterday and the doctor that does the surgery was there but by the time he found it he called him and he had already left. My doc was pretty upset that he coudln’t get it done but he wanted to leave it for the doctor that specializes in it. He said in 6 weeks I should have that done. Once that is all taken care of then we can proceed with the IVF. So, not all terrible but not the greatest news either. So far I am feeling ok. The gas pains are in my shoulders and that is pretty painful. They gave me Tylenol with codine and that seems to be working well for me. My mom has been great, she is on her way over to cook breakfast since I am starving!! I still had to have clear liquids for the rest of the day yesterday so I am ready to eat now!
